Mental Health Care Should Go Beyond Medication

At Balanced Behavioral Health & Wellness, we believe the best psychiatric care treats the whole person—not just a diagnosis or a list of symptoms.

That is why we invested in BDNFit, a one-of-a-kind mental health and wellness optimization program designed to complement our integrative approach to psychiatric treatment.

To our knowledge, Balanced Behavioral Health & Wellness is the first outpatient psychiatric treatment team in the country to provide a comprehensive wellness program of this scope to every active patient as part of their ongoing care.

Included for every active patient

  • Nutrition
  • Adult strength training at three different levels
  • Kids' strength programs
  • Mindset
  • Adult and kids' meditation programs
  • Quick, practical lessons
  • Sustainable strategies for everyday life

Why We Include It

Movement, nutrition, sleep, stress regulation, mindset, and physical health are deeply connected to mental health.

BDNFit allows us to extend care beyond the appointment by giving our patients additional tools to support resilience, energy, cognition, emotional well-being, and overall health.

It is not a replacement for treatment. It is an extension of it.

And because we believe this type of whole-person approach represents the future of psychiatric care, BDNFit is included for every active patient receiving treatment with our team.

One treatment team. One integrative approach. Whole-person mental health care.
